Infinite Loading Screen

I left spotify open for over 12 hours because i read on here that its caused by local files trying to load up due to a windows media libray error, the only local files i have is 1 song but around 20 video clips from games.After the twelve hours still no luck and just a loading screen

I would first stop the app using task manager and reboot it. If this doesn't work than you might try to delete the cache of the app do this by going into This PC>(C:) Drive>Users>[Your user name] (ex. Jeff)> AppData>Local>Spotify>Storage and then delete all the file folders in storage. This however does delete your downloaded content in Spotify if you have premium. If this does not work than I would unistall and reinstall the app. Hope this helps.

Since you have the File, Edit, and View in your bar if you it edit prefences does stay as a loading screen?

only options in file,edit and view is File-> Exit, Edit->Undo/Redo/Cut/Copy/Paste/Delete View-> Zoom In/Zoom Out/Reset Zoom/Hardware Acceleration
