Explain the queue/up next features to me

I have a question. Imagine a scenario:

I am listening to a song/album.
I have several other songs/albums in my queue which I wish to listen to next.
I want to add a song/album to the end of that existing queue.

Right now, when I use "add to queue" on the new song/album, it goes to the top of the queue, and the rest of the queue goes into "up next" at the bottom instead. I am then required to manually drag the "up next" songs back up into the queue.

How can I queue up songs to the end of the queue, without needing to manually rearranging everything?

By now there isn't this option. But you can open a post in the "Idea" section if you want 🙂

I had searched several times and I wasn't able to pull up any recent, clear information on this. This is very disappointing.
