&lt;P&gt;Where are you seeing this error message in, the desktop app?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Try going to open.spotify.com and see if you're able to use that. That is to ensure that Spotify traffic is still allowed in your network. &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the web player looks normal, you can try the following methods:&lt;BR /&gt;1. restarting the router and your device&lt;BR /&gt;2. reinstalling Spotify like this:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;* Close Spotify and uninstall it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;* Go to %AppData% in Windows Explorer, and delete any Spotify folders you find in Local and Roaming.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;* Restart your computer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;* Now &lt;A href="http://www.spotify.com/download" target="_self" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer"&gt;reinstall Spotify&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I found the solution and it is an odd one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had to log in , not with my username, and not my email&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but I had to log in with the account name that is randomly generated in your profile and you can see it in your web profile under account overview = username&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope this helps someone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also thanks to the people who tried to help me&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
