volume changes on desktop app

On my desktop app, the volume and the quality lowers/weakens when Spotify isn't my active window.
If I click to another application, the volume lowers and I lose the "richness" of the song; lose the base and mid, like it's being played without the base and mids enabled.

Exact same issue here, solution would be highly appreciated! As it makes the desktop app absolutly worthless this way.

It’s to do with your windows settings. You want to disable the audio enhancements and it’ll fix the issue. I fixed mine and my boss. We were having the same issue.

Thanks for getting back to me with that! 🙂 - Weird.. I didn't even touch this Dolby Audio options (ever), and since Monday it suddenly started causing issues..

But solved it indeed! Thanks!
