[Facebook]Playlist cover missing

Playlist cover art is showing up on the client but not when I share it, p.e. to Facebook, plus no track preview, something I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere. Any idea why would that be?

Just had a look, it looks like a shiny new playlist? It could be the web pages are just taking a little bit of time to be updated!

I think I figured it. I checked back today, still nothing. Then I ran into this post

that suggested using a debugger tool for facebook (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug)

I ran the link through and it's working fine now, tracks and cover art showing. Hope it does it for anyone experiencing this same issue.

JGD, Thank you SO much for sharing this. This debugger tool for facebook helped me, too. It has been driving me crazy that my newer playlists don't show the artwork and tracks preview when I share them on facebook. I have given up trying to understand why Spotify wants us/forces us to be more social, yet takes away basic functionality in the process of us actually being social. At least this tool gives me some control over how my playlists show when they are shared. Thanks again!

Thanks so much this helped loads!! For anyone else trying to post the player take the "emded" link out for the embed post so you have just the URL:

Use that in your Fbook post and you will see the player. 😉 You can even delete the link after the player has appeared and just see the player (looks much neater), my example:
