&lt;P&gt;That's odd, and I think it may be caused by Spotify being simply muted in Windows' Volume Mixer. &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When you right-click on the speaker icon on taskbar and choose "Volume Mixer", you should see a small window with separate volume sliders for each open program that can play sound.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Make sure Spotify is not muted.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If Spotify is not muted, it may help if you mute and then unmute it, and then restart Spotify.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Let me know how it goes!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
