Error 11 - no previous solutions working

Out of nowhere, one day, Spotify decided to show error 11 (not enough memory or disc space) on my device.

- I have 31+ GB free

- i7, 8gb ram Surface Pro 4

- no other programs running when turning it on (or sometimes just Chrome)

I've tried:

- reinstalling the whole package,

- manually deleting eveything and reinstalling

- running it in different compatibility modes and as an administrator

...but nothing works.

Can't seem to figure out what it is!

To start, can you let us know what device, operating system, and version of Spotify you're using?

Also, is the same happening on any other devices? Keep us posted.

I’m using Spotify the desktop application, on Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 4, i7 8gb ram, 256gb storage (42 free). Can’t find version numbers or anything - the app won’t open. I assume it’s the most recent because I’m now trying to reinstall it from the website.
