Spotify starts automatically

I have searched through the forum without finding a solution so I am starting a new thread to check if anyone has a solution to my problem.

I have Windows 10 installed.

I have Spotify 1.0.75 installed.

I have a free account.

I have set Open Spotify automatically after you log in to your computer to No.

I have restarted my computer several times.

I have checked that Spotify is not in the Startup list.

Still, whenever my computer starts, Spotify starts automatically. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or has a solution to this problem?

I'd recommend trying a full reinstall on your computer.

I would also check out this setting in Windows 10.

Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-In options -> Privacy: Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart. [Turn this OFF]

If that setting is ON then Windows will automattically start up any program that was running at the time you shut down Windows, regardless of any other settings.
