Hey @Pineberries96!

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Let's try starting Windows in safe mode and uninstall the app, removing all Spotify files from your PC manually if needed.

Once this is done, restart your PC and run Windows normally. You can try downloading Spotify from the website or through the Windows store to install it from scratch.

Fingers crossed that should fix this issue.

Let me know how it goes.

Hello everyone, I've been having a very frusturating past few days with my spotify on my computer. It's the only thing I have an issue with. When I click on the Spotify icon on my desktop it acts like an image. No loading, no pop ups nothing. It's like it's not even there.

Here is a list of things that I have done:

-rebooted my computer

-Uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify

- Checked Windows store as my computer is new enough for it but it gives me no options download it. Everyy so often the launch button shows up on the store face but when you click it nothing happens

- I tried running it on administrator and nothing happens

When I try to download the app online I get the error messge " A windows Store Installation of Spotify was found in your system. Please uninstall that version first, or update through the Windows Store"

-If I try to download through Windows, I get an error stating "failed to migrate data"

It doesnt seem to have any cached data and theres no signs of Spotify downloads (other than the dowloader) in my files... It's very frustrating.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
