No option to disable normalization?

Forgive me if I've overlooked any recents threads about this.

Is there no normalization setting in the desktop app? There's actually three different settings in the iOS app. That's weird. Desktop apps are usually more full featured than their mobile counterparts.

Is there any plan to bring this to the desktop app too?

Hey @Dommedagsprofet,

I think there is a normalization setting in the desktop app.

To enable/ disable this please follow these two steps:

Go to settings and click on Show advanced settings
Then go to Playback > Set the same volume for all songs

However, I still wonder why there's three options in the mobile app and only two in the desktop version. How do these options compare?

do you mean these settings here:

I think Enable Audio Normalization is the same thing like the setting I wrote about in the post above. And with the Volume Levels you can make the music louder/quieter than it's possible normally, I think.
