All New Playlist Names End in 2

Everytime I create a playlist in the Windows app the name is listed as *Playlist Name* 2, so for instance, Awesome Playlist 2. This is happening on both of my computers.

to clarify, this is happening when I let Spotify auto-create the playlist name, for instance when making a playlist from an album
