Activity Feed won't update

After updating to the newest version, the activity shown on Spotify consistently shows the same it did weeks ago. The music people are listening to shows up on Facebook right, and I know these are people who use Spotify regularly- I've tried logging out and back in, etc already. Any ideas?

Feel fine with Spotify. You can try clean re-install of Spotify and see if that helps.

Instructions to perform a clean reinstallation are on this help page.

Also, what operating system are you using? If you are connected to Facebook, do your friends show in the Follow tab?

I reinstalled and it worked, but as soon as I exited and restarted the Spotify client it started not updating again. I'm on Windows 7, and yeah, my friends do show up in the follow tab

My activity feed will not update. I've reinstalled spotify twice and it still will not update. Suggestions?

I'm a newbie here as well and I have noticed that after adding quite a few friends who listen to Spotify, that it continues to show the same songs at the top of my "listened to" list. I'm sure I'll figure out that I'm just being a dummy here somewhere...

I've had the same problem, like my friend can't see my activity feed.

I noticed that if you open:

Edit -> Preferences

Under Privacy, make sure you check the first box which says: "Share my activity and what I listen to with my followers on Spotify", then your friends will see your updates.

Then ask your friends to do the same then you'll be able to see each other's recently listened songs.
