I have to say I'm not a fan of (a) bringing mobile device look and feel to a Windows desktop app, in general, and (b) not providing an option for an always visible menubar. I have to go offline/online frequently and it's just more difficult to use the three dots menu dropdown to toggle that state.

$0.02 --emk

It just isn't very nice. The menu now drops downwards, but is completely out of sync with the style of the rest of the Spotify app. Also why are the min/max/close buttons outlined in their own extra black box? Did the devs rollout a menu update before it was completely ready? It looks half finished.

That's not to say I don't like where it is going -- the three dot menu selection bar is unobtrusive and blends well with the rest of the app.
