Spotify closes automatically (Win10)

I run Spotify under Windows 10.

After a minute or two, Spotify every time closes automatically, even if I do nothing (not playing a song, e.g.)

Reinstall won't help.

Any idea?

Hey @gnobelstift, welcome to the community!

Are you getting any error messages when Spotify closes? Also, does the app fully closes or just logs you out?

In the meantime, try reinstalling Spotify to see if it helps.

Hi Alfredo,

Sorry for the late reply. I was abroad without access to this PC.

To answer your question, it just closes, nothing more.

I don't see any message (error or else), Spotify just disappears.

I checked several times in the Task Manager if perhaps it was still running
in the background for some reason, but no.

I will try to reinstall once more, but without high hopes ( have tried this
before).

Thanks for getting back to me with this info.

In case the reinstallation doesn't help, let's make sure the Spotify app is set as an exeption on any antivirus and firewalls you may have.

Also, does the same happen to other devices using the same internet connection?
