Spotify Won't Uninstall

Recently, Spotify has started to popup with an error message saying "Spotify failed to migrate some of your data". After searching, the resolution seems to be uninstall Spotify, and re-download it via the website instead of the Windows app store. However, when I go to uninstall Spotify, it just pops up the same error ("Spotify failed to migrate some of your data") and opens Spotify to the login screen.

I have tried to uninstall it several different ways to no avail.

Please help.

There's a few different solutions to uninstall on this thread but have you tried running a third party uninstaller like ioBit?

Even using the recommended uninstaller software, Spotify still refuses to uninstall.

Hmmm,

There's this article on infopackets that will hopefully work for you. I'd probably dive straight in at the command prompt alternative then work through the App Data Directory
