Why has the Repeat button gone so bad [Desktop]

Older Versions of Spotify lost the Repeat Song function completely.

The newest version is not better its like repeating the song for one time and then you gotta press that button again.

And when you select another Song you need to activate this setting every time again.

Its really annoying.

Why did they just get rid of the ON/OFF button?...

What Windows and Spotify version are you using?

Turning on Repeat Track should stay on as long as you're listening to the same song, repeating forever.

However, it's expected behaviour that it goes back to just repeat when you change to a different song.
