Yeah this is happening to me too. For example, if I search for "The Eagles" and then once the search is complete I click on the song "Hotel California".

Then a couple days later if I want to again search for "The Eagles" as a whole, the only thing in the search history is, "Hotel California", and any songs from that album.

I want it to retain the artist as a whole, not just the song I click on. #FirstWorldProblems

Please put it back to the old way where it retained the artist as a whole in search history and not just a specific song. Or at least having an option to choose would be nice.

When I look at my search history I do not see my previous search queries. Only the prevoius matches I have clicked on are visible. On any other search function i.e. Google I can see my previous queries.

The same thing happens for me. I can only assume that's how the Spotify search system works now. You must click on an item for it to appear in your search history. Hope this helps.

This is so annoying! I always listen to music by searching the artist, but now i can not do that. Please change it back, I have started listening to youtube way more because of this little thing.
