Any idea why my spotify desktop keeps stopping tracks randomly? Sometimes they will restart if I hit play again, other times it just won't start again. Only seems to happen on desktop, it works fine on the app

Hi!

I'm just using chrome. I literally typed spotify into google and it was the first desktop player that came up.

@LJB123

You can try installing the downloadable desktop app. It will have more features as well! For example, if you have Premium, you can download music for (in-app) offline listening. 🙂

Look into this article on how to get it.

If you wish to continue using the web player, I recommend deleting cookies and cache.

Do this in Chrome:

1. At the top right, click More. (the vertical dots)
2. Click More Tools and then Clear browsing data.
3. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
4. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
5. Click Clear data.

Let me know how you get on!
