I am using Spotify since years, first on my old PC under Windows Vista - now I've got a new one and Windows 10. The icon is still on my desktop, but every time that I open it, it has to be installed anew. Formerly it opened and at once was there. What can I do to get the old state back?

Hey @Tommy47

That sounds like you have a Spotify Installer on your desktop.

Since you have installed it, I suggest opening the Start menu and finding the Spotify app there.

If you find it and it works correctly, you can right-click on the program in the Start menu and either pin it to taskbar (you'll see it on the taskbar at all times) or send it to desktop (creating a shortcut).

Then you can put the other Spotify icon to the recycle bin. 🙂

Let me know how it goes!
