I'm an old spotify-user with an unlimited account, for whom I pay 4,99 € every month . A couple of weeks ago, the account starts to break down while playing music or won't start to play from the beginning. Now there is no way to play some music and spotify only tells me "oops, something went wrong, please reload". Does somebody know this problem? Is Spotify trying to blackmail me to get the premium-account?? Money is paid monthly, there was no loss....

I'm very gladful for some help!

Hey @knigg

I suggest checking if you have these issues playing music on the web player as well. 🙂

If there are no issues, then you should reinstall your Spotify client.
This is the clean method (erases all Spotify files):

1. Close Spotify and uninstall it.
2. Go to %AppData% in Windows Explorer, and delete any Spotify folders you find in Local and Roaming folders.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install Spotify.

FYI:

Spotify Unlimited is an old old plan for adless unlimited playback on desktop client, it's also not available for any new customers. Those on Unlimited get to keep the plan as long as they don't cancel.

Let me know how it goes!
