Was there already any occasion, which should result in a notification? Please ask a friend to follow you and turn on notifications for this action.

Please make sure notifications are allowed under section Apps → Spotify → Notification in your device's settings.

Good evening,

some versions of Andorid kill apps for saving battery and optimizing speed.

Please check, if button "Force Stop" under section Device Settings → Apps → Spotify is clickable, after you did not use Spotify for some time and worked with other apps.

And do you use any task killer application (also preinstalled ones like Samsung Smart Manager)? Please turn them off and try again.

Hey @user-removed,

please do a clean install of Spotify app. I know, this is a horrible tip, but It fixes many errors.
