last.fm scrobbles not saving

I have noticed in the past week that my last.fm scrobbles from desktop spotify have not been saving. The song that is playing shows as scrobbling, but when the next song comes on it just replaces that song and the scrobble isn't saved. I have disconnected and reconnected scrobbling from last.fm and from spotify and the problem is still there. Mobile works fine.

Hey @coy499

The internal scrobbling (from Spotify's settings) doesn't work anymore, so you can disable it, or leave it connected if you wish. It won't do anything. 🙂

I recommend disconnecting Spotify Scrobbling app (from last.fm), then go to the Apps page of your profile, revoke access for last.fm app and then go back to last.fm to reconnect the app. You'll have to restart your Spotify client as well.

The scrobbler app seems to work just fine for me, so there should be no failure on last.fm side.

Note: Spotify Scrobbling app does not support local files.
