When playing the app on the background the music is low still with the volume all the way up

Does it happen when you play games?

Have you tried to reinstall the app or an easy step that many people take it for granteed, just restarting the console?

Hi,

Usually when playing games the music apps in the background will lower their volume. It has happened to me in my phone.

I don't have an XBox unfortunately because I would give you a solid answer for sure about this.

I did a little googling and was able to find some articles that might help you out.

Yup, same thing here. This appeared with the latest Spotify update, volume wasn't a problem before that. And since other apps (like Plex or Netflix) still have normal volume levels, this is a Spotify problem.

I contacted Spotify support about this, and they went through all the usual check routines (turn off Xbox, reinstall app etc.), but at no point did I get the feeling this registered with them as a bug with the app.

So, don't hold your breath for fixes ...
