My Question or Issue

Hi, I'm having trouble opening the spotify app. When I click to open an error message appears. I already tried to reinstall, but it did not work.

Hey @LariF

This looks like an application error. Probably something in its files is corrupt.

I recommend reinstalling Spotify cleanly by doing this:

1. Close Spotify and uninstall it.
2. Go to %AppData% in Windows Explorer, and delete any Spotify folders you find in Local and Roaming folders.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install Spotify.

If that didn't work, could you tell me where you installed Spotify from (Windows Store or the Spotify's website)? Windows Store applications can be reset and uninstalled through Apps and Features.
