Spotify doesn’t work with my mixer

My Question or Issue

I have a usb mixer (American Audio 14MXR). The sound card works fine for all programs on my computer, except Spotify. I get an error saying “the song can not be played”. Does Spotify block certain types of sound card? I am just using this for home use and not for commercial use.

Hey @scottym, thanks for reaching out.

That doesn't seem a problem with your mixer since it works system wide. Have you tried Spotify in bot OSes?

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the appreinstall. Just follow the steps here.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
