I checked the windows volume mixer and the in-app slider, they are both maxed out. Is there any way to make the app louder?

That doesn't explain why there is such a huge volume difference between the two. Is there any way to make the app louder?

Try to go to Settings and look for Music Quality section. Switch Normalize volume to off and change Volume Level to High.

Hope this helps 🙂
