Volume is better on web player then windows store downloaded player?

My Question or Issue

I was setting up spotify on my PC after doing a file wipe, so while I worked I used the Spotify web player, then later I downloaded the app from the Windows 10 store and it had a lot less volume to it then using the web player through Google Chrome. I checked the windows volume mixer and the in-app slider, they are both maxed out. Is there any way to make the app louder?

That doesn't explain why there is such a huge volume difference between the two. Is there any way to make the app louder?

Try to go to Settings and look for Music Quality section. Switch Normalize volume to off and change Volume Level to High.
