Hey, thanks for reaching out.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app. Just follow the steps below:

1. Close Spotify and Uninstall it.
2. Go to %AppData% in Windows Explorer, and delete any Spotify folders you find in Local and Roaming folders.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install Spotify.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest!

I read that it had something to do with hardware acceleration and Nvidia GPUs but it kept happening after I disabled hardware acceleration nad restartet spotify. I've tried reinstalling 3 times and the last time I could even get into prefferences to disable hardware acceleration. I have to hard reset my computer when it happens.

And the times it doesn't crash the display driver it loops and/or skips parts of the songs (the progress bar for the song goes on as if it's playing normally).

Can anybody help?
