Before trying to uninstall Spotify, please make sure it isn't running in the background. To make sure it isn't, look for Spotify in the Notification Tray area and open Task Manager to kill any running process of Spotify.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If that won't work try doing this process from the Safe Mode, which can be enable by following these steps:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Hold &lt;STRONG&gt;Windows+R&lt;/STRONG&gt; to open the Run dialog menu.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Type in the search field &lt;STRONG&gt;msconfig&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;When inside the msconfig window just go to the &lt;STRONG&gt;Boot&lt;/STRONG&gt; tab.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;In the Boot options section just click on &lt;STRONG&gt;Safe Mode&lt;/STRONG&gt; to enable it.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Click &lt;STRONG&gt;Apply&lt;/STRONG&gt; and confirm &lt;STRONG&gt;Restart&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then j&lt;SPAN&gt;ust follow &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/using_spotify/troubleshooting/reinstallation-of-spotify/" target="_blank"&gt;these steps&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;to reinstall Spotify.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me know how it goes &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi I've been going through this problem for awhile now and this problem is and on and off situation&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So basically,Whenever i try and start up spotify it would say Spotify application not responding then i tried getting help online in the community they say u should try reinstalling back spotify,something to do with your task manager and so on but it didnt work for me i tried reinstalling spotify but it said "the installer is unable to install spotify because the file written are in use in another process.Please make sure spotify isnt running and retry",and whenever i retry the same messages pops up again and its pretty annoying like theres no solution&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;My Question or Issue&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
