Click OK.

Disable Communications settings:
1. Find the speaker icon on Taskbar again. Right-click on it and select Sounds.
2. In the opened window go to COmmunications and set Windows to do nothing.

Uninstalling / reinstalling audio driver can help. See this Microsoft support article for this and other tricks.

Let me know how it goes 🙂

Plan

Premium

Device

Windows

Operating System

Windows 10

My Question or Issue

I updated spotify to 1.0.86.337 and came to this error. Spotify appears "Can't play current song" each time I play different song, and about 15' later, the song stop playing but the music bar still running. I can't change song after that and then it hit 30% cpu usage, freeze my computer in short time later. I've tried clean re-install and many other way but the error still there.

Hey @hyamal

That's pretty strange!

I'd suggest disabling hardware acceleration in Spotify by going to menu dots - View - Hardware acceleration. This will restart Spotify.

Did you also delete Spotify's %appdata% content or reset the app when reinstalling?

Let me know how it goes! 🙂

I've tried that too, still get the error but I found this report in my local disk, maybe it will help finding solution to this, I guess it's a bug or something.
