All Local Files have the same album art

All of my local files on the desktop verison of spotify all have the same picture. They all have album art on my computer and in other applications but they all have the same album art in spotify. All of them have the same "album name" which is probably why they all have the same album art. I was wondering if there is a way to turn this off and let them each have their own album art or atleast a way I can choose what the album art is.

Hey @agenttbone, welcome to the Community!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your local files. We'll be glad to lend a hand 🙂

When adding local files, the app tries to find the info (album name, cover art, etc) of the track and match it with the local file.

This can sometimes be off, depending on the info you have set for each file.

For now, you can try editing some of the info from the local files themselves to see if it makes a difference.

If not, try removing them and adding them again to see if it helps.

Create sub-folders for each album and add a cover for each track. This worked for me on mobile but it should probably work for PC as well.
