Local File problems

My Question or Issue

When I create a playlist from a song in my local file folder, the playlist appears on my iphone, but the song is not there. By that I mean the playlist on my phone is empty. I make sure the "Download" button is clicked. I am not sure what the issue is.

To download local files to your mobile your desktop's Spotify client has to be open and both of your devices have to be in same WiFi network.

The reason why you don't see that file in your mobile's playlist might be caused by having disabled "Show unplayable songs" in Spotify preferences.
