My Question or Issue

Hi,

I have a Logitech mouse with lots of programmable buttons on it. Recently, the Spotify has been skipping to next/previous track when I use the back/forward buttons on the mouse. This is very annoying as whenever I use the back/forward buttons in my browser or file manager for example, it skips to next/previous track in Spotify regardless of whether Spotify is focused, minimized, or in the system tray. It isn't consistent and doesn't always affect Spotify, but it is extremely irritating when it does. This only started recently (within the last month maybe, not sure of an exact timeframe).

Can anyone else reproduce this issue? I've attached a screenshot of my mouse layout for reference.

Hi,

The exact same problem is appening to me. My mouse button 4, 5 and even the dpi button started to control the spotify playback. However I'm using a different mouse.

I tried to reboot my pc and to uninstall spotify but it still doesn't work.

So have you solve this problem? Or at least have you any clue about it?
