Latest release installation taking a long time.

Hello, I've just logged onto my Spotify to be told to restart Spotify to install latest version. I've done so and 20 minutes later its still installing. I have 30MG broadband so it shouldn't be taking this long. Anyone else had this problem?

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Try installing it from this link instead. Although I don't know why it's happening, thats the full installer so there's no need for an in-install download.

OK, so I clicked to "Abort " the installation, and well, that's take far, far longer than expected too!

Yeah, the link didn't work. The app is taking way too long to update/install
