Seemingly every .exe i find online ends up running through the windows store, thus not creating any kind of folder on my desktop except for an empty appdata folder which is giving me some problems with my Rainmeter setup. Is there any way around this? Any way to get the old Spotify back?

Hey @Beyandré, welcome to the Community.

Hope you're doing great!

There're still 2 versions for Windows, the one in the Windows Store and the .exe version, which you can download right here 🙂

I'd also recommend trying to install it on a new user account on your PC to see if that makes a difference.

Let me know how it goes 🙂
