Equalizer Workaround for Windows users

Hi everyone,

I was using Spotify frequently in my Androind phone, but recently I had to start listening to it in my Windows PC, and, using the same headphone, I noticed a BIG difference in the sound, which is caused by the lack of Equalizer in Windows' Spotify.

I saw this thread, and some other topics, so I already know that Spotify team doesn't care about that at all right now, and also saw a lot of users migrating to iTunes (an alternative that I'm considering as well).

In some research I found Equalify, but I'm not really willing to pay for an Equalizer, as I already pay for a Spotify subscription.

I want to know if you guys have found some workaround for this. Is there any free third-party software compatible with Spotify that enable us to equalize the sound?

I found this Reddit thread which had a free equalizer for Windows that should work with Spotify.
