I can confirm I am not using an external HD and already tried to delete all the devices and start from scratch, trying a clean install with latest version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any hint will be appreciated.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Hi! I am experiencing&amp;nbsp; exactly the same issue as related in &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Ongoing-Issues/Multiple-registrations-of-same-device-in-offline-device-list/idi-p/2112240" target="_blank"&gt;https://community.spotify.com/t5/Ongoing-Issues/Multiple-registrations-of-same-device-in-offline-device-list/idi-p/2112240&lt;/A&gt; that was marked as "not an issue" and closed.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;In my case, the fix provided in&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/uk/article/listen-offline-troubleshooting/" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.spotify.com/uk/article/listen-offline-troubleshooting/&lt;/A&gt; wont also apply.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;It is&amp;nbsp;more than&amp;nbsp;unconvenient because my music dissapears once and again by surprise even though&amp;nbsp;the limit of three devices is not truly reached.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;This issue has been reported more than once by many different users ... is it already a fix for it?&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Thanks and regards!&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Plan&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Premium&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Country&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;Spain&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Device&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Laptop HP i7&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Operating System&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Windows 10&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Could you let us know if you're using an external hard drive? Also, make sure sure that your device is on the latest software version.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Further, we'd suggest performing a clean reinstall of the app on your laptop to start afresh. However, make sure to follow the steps below&amp;nbsp;instead:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Open Spotify and click&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;File&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;in the menu bar. Select&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Exit&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Start&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;button. Select&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Open&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;System&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Apps &amp;amp; features&lt;/STRONG&gt;, then select&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Spotify&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Uninstall&lt;/STRONG&gt;. Click&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Uninstall&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;again in the pop-up to confirm.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Make sure to head &lt;A href="https://www.spotify.com/account/offline-devices/" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; and remove all offline devices.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On the Start search bar, type&amp;nbsp;%AppData% and hit enter. This should open up&amp;nbsp;AppData\Roaming.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;In the new window that opens up make sure there's no Spotify folder showing up. If there is, you can delete it.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Make sure that there is no Spotify folder left in&amp;nbsp;AppData\Local as well.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;A class="js-ga-event" href="http://www.spotify.com/download" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"&gt;Download&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;and install Spotify from the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A class="js-ga-event" href="https://www.microsoft.com/store/p/spotify-music/9ncbcszsjrsb?cid=spotifyweb-windows10-store-direct" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"&gt;Windows Apps store&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please note that you will need to redownload your offline songs one more time.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;There seems to be something creating multiple caches. Let's try some other things:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Turn off any battery and memory optimization/saving settings and apps.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Turn off any cache-clearing apps you might have installed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Turn off any backup settings you might have.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
