[Desktop] Local Files not Crossfading - premium

My Question or Issue

I have some songs in my playlist which I have downloaded, however - if the current song playing is currently a local song, which is crossfading to a spotify/non-local song (or vice versa) then the spotify app gets stuck at 00:00.. super annoying especially if you're trying to have a party and you have to keep press the skip button or double clicking on the song whenever it gets stuck... Any workaround for this or is there a feature to not crossfade local songs??

Thanks for reaching out on the Community, and sorry for the late response!

If you're still experiencing this issue, would you mind performing a clean reinstall by following the steps outlined here? This can solve many common problems that our users experience.

Could you also see if changing the crossfade time in Settings (e.g. from 8s to 5s) has any effect?

In the meantime, could you provide us with the following information:

Device and OS version
Spotify app version?
