I'm using the latest player (1.0391.183).

Just wanted to ask if there are any light skins available for this player.

Looking at that black screen with the white letters is killing my eyes.

I've actually gone so far as to cancel my premium service because of that and may have to go with a service that offers white background.

It's that hard for me to look at this particular contrast.

White with black letters, no problem.

Black with white letters, major problem.

Are there any light themed skins out there?

Hard to believe there's customize the player from Spotify themselves.

Most software makers are proud of their customization options.

The latest version of Spotify is 1.0.90.268 not 1.0391.183 🙂

Unfortunately at the moment Spotify doesn't support different skins, if you would like you can give your support to these ideas: 1, 2 & 3.

Spotify will never prioritize quality-of-life changes like what you are asking for, or the ability to choose audio output for example. Simple things, that other software companies do so easily, it seems Spotify does not have the needed competence for. "You have a problem with Spotify? **bleep** YOU." That's sadly the best you can hope for. Like you see from their response, "go sign to these 3 forum posts that already asked for this function 5 years ago, maybe something will happen, have a nice day."
