&lt;P&gt;That's really frustrating! I think a clean reinstall is a good idea - &lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/using_spotify/troubleshooting/reinstallation-of-spotify/" target="_self"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; are the steps in case you need them.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Could you also provide us with your Spotify app version once you've done that? You can find this in the three-dots menu (top-left corner) &amp;gt; Help &amp;gt; About Spotify.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;If a clean reinstall doesn't work, then would you mind trying to listen on the app using another account and seeing if that changes things?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Sound stops and Interface becomes unresponsive Help</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Plan&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Premium&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Country&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;US&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Device&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PC Desktop App/Windows Store&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Operating System&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Latest Version&amp;nbsp;on Windows 10 as of 10/19/18&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My Question or Issue&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So when I start up Spotify and go to play my few songs in my main playlist it plays fine. Then&amp;nbsp;sometime after the 4th song,&amp;nbsp;I lose audio. The time bar at the bottom keeps going but the play pause, skip, shuffle buttons, all stop working and I can't play another song or even go to a different page in the Program. So I try and restart the program by closing it. Then when I go to reopen it says "the application is not responding". The only way for me to reopen Spotify is to go into my Task Manager&amp;nbsp;and manually&amp;nbsp;close the 3-4 instances&amp;nbsp;of Spotify.exe. Not to mention that if I don't&amp;nbsp;do this quick enough&amp;nbsp;my entire&amp;nbsp;computer will lock up and freeze, the only way to get out of this is for me to hold my power button to shut down my PC. &lt;STRONG&gt;This problem only happens with the Windows Store Version and the Desktop App version of Spotify, no problems on my&amp;nbsp;phone or the Web player.&lt;/STRONG&gt; After restarting my computer and trying to&amp;nbsp;use Spotify&amp;nbsp;again this problem takes a little longer to occur&amp;nbsp;but still happens eventually, then after that&amp;nbsp;as soon as I reopen Spotify and go to play music after a few songs its the same cycle all over again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As I am posting this I will be trying a fresh reinstall yet again looking extra hard for extra files that may be lingering.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I really love Spotify&amp;nbsp;and I am desperate&amp;nbsp;for help because I want to keep using this program but if I cannot get the help I will have to unsubscribe and no longer use a program that I truly want to work.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
