Local Files Duplicate in Spotify

Hi. Some have had a similar issue, but reinstalling Spotify doesn't help mine. Some local files show up as duplicates. There's only one copy on my local storage, all flashram. No idea why this happening. The files are converted to MP3 from m4a. The files play too, even the duplicates. It's super annoying. Any ideas? Greateful for any help. Thanks!

Do you have the M4A files still present?

I have a few albums of M4A files, they all contain ALAC. Spotify displays those, but they will not play.

I also have a couple of other M4A files which contain AAC. Spotify displays those and also plays them back.

I'd like to know the properties of the original files (the m4a ones).
