Spotify desktop overlay still appears although I disabled it many times!!

Although I disabled this option ((Show desktop overly when using media keys))

on Spotify settings but this annoying desktop overlay still appears everytime I click on any media or volume buttons on my laptop and I tried uninstalling Spotify then installed the latest available version which is 1.0.95.289.g342899da but this did not fix this problem so can anyone tell me what should I do to fix it ?

This is a known issue which is under investigaton by Spotify. You can check how it is going and vote for it to catch more attention to it here. Hope this gets fixed soon 🙂

I did that and I hope they fix it soon as it's very annoying.
