I'm the administrator and I uninstalled Spotify from the control panel. First, everytime my PC turned on Spotify tried to update but said that an error have ocurred beacuse Spotify was running. Then, I start receiving the message "spotify can't play this right now if you have the file on your computer you can import it" in many musics. I tried to fix it but nothing worked. I tried to reinstall Spotify. I unistalled it with no troble. Then I downloaded the SpotifySetup.exe. But, when I click it nothing happens. No error message, no task in task manager, nothing. How can I solve this?

Hello,
A simple way to give your computer a "refresh" is to perform a reboot or hard reset, then try to run the .exe file for Spotify. If this seems to not work, make sure your account has administrator privileges for windows, if it doesn't, ask your administrator for them. It might also help to check if Spotify correctly uninstalled on your computer, to do so follow the following steps: search in Cortona bar: control panel > click uninstall a program > scroll down and look for Spotify, if its there click uninstall.
Best of luck,

Jack

I found a "solution". I installed Spotify from Microsoft Store and created a new account. Thank you anyway!

This is not a solution to this problem. Not everyone wants to use Microsoft store or create a completely new account to get their spotify working.
