PC Spotify App Won't Play Certain Podcasts

My Question or Issue

My Spotify app will not play specific podcasts. There are shows that simply won't play, I'll click on them and it just sits at 0:00. It works on my iPhone and will sometimes work on the Web Browser. There are no updates listed.

Hey larsoa and welcome to the Spotify Community,

This is probably some sort of bug in the program... There are 2 options we can try for this.

We can Uninstall and Reijstall the Spotify Desktop Application onto your computer.
We can install the Windows Store Version of Spotify which seems ot be a much better version of the Spotify Windows Application.

If you need any help let me know.

P.S. I would suggest starting with installing the Windows Store version.

I've tried reinstalling both the Windows Desktop application of Spotify and the Windows Store version, to no avail. I have 3 podcasts I can't listen to on my desktop (The Magnus Archives, Uncanny County, and occasionally Welcome to Night Vale). I find this incredibly frustrating as I spend the majority of my time using Spotify on my desktop while I'm at work. If there could be a bug update for desktop or Windows, it would make my 8+ hours of listening that much more enjoyable.

I am a Premium user on Windows 10.

I've also attempted to try and listen to these podcasts on the web player in Chrome and that is an entirely different mess.

Same thing happens to me. I am only able to access podcasts that are not The Magnus Archives on my chrome book but I can listen freely on my phone too it. What is really frustrating is I just started, I'm only on 22.
