Nothing happens after opening installer

When I open installer, nothing happens. When i drag the installer to C:\Program Files (x86) it works, downloads spotify but does not install it. I know the link that installs an old looking spotify but actually i don't want it. What can be done ?

Hey there @Whituryd41,

Sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Please follow the steps on this help guide to make sure you fully remove Spotify from you device without leaving any trace behind.

After this had been done, plase reach Spotify.com, download a new clean and up to date version using an incognito web page and reinstall it in a different path folder.

Microsoft Store version of Spotify works fine, but there are some certain differences btw. original client and store's one. I'm actually trying to install original client.
