Chevolume not working with Spotify

My Question or Issue

I recently got a sound card on my computer and wanted to do some sound mixing to different devices around my house, and I heard that CheVolume is a good software to use to move audio. My problem is that when I want to use Chevolume to route Spotify to a specific output, Spotify stops playing songs and just skips through them in less than a second each. Is there something I am doing wrong or some kind of setting I can make it good again? Also if I try to play a song while CheVolume is up it says the song cannot be played right now.

Windows 10 has its own settings for routing audio to specific outputs too.

Unfortunately my setup is a bit complicated so I do need to switch stuff over often and CheVolume is the best way for me to do that.
