Spotify Desktop Client Automatically Transliterates Cyrillic

My Question or Issue

My spotify desktop client had no issues a few weeks ago and still kept a few Russian artist's names in Cyrillic but after some sort of update a bunch of more artists became randomly transliterated (examples: Гражданская Оборона/Grazhdanskaya Oborona, Янка/Yanka, Звуки Му/Zvuki Mu). This is an annoying issue because it messes with my scrobbles on Last FM. My spotify client is also set in Italian this whole time and I have tried other languages such as Polish and German and still the same issue. There also seems to be no Russian language support for the desktop client. Is there a way to combat this annoying transliteration issue? Thank you
