Multiple spotify.exe tasks continue to open

Hi there - I have been experiencing a really strange issue BOTH when trying to launch Spotify on my PC and now when trying to uninstall it (I was hoping that would fix the problem).

When running the application, it opens spotify.exe in the task manager, but it the continues to open more and more of them every second. The only way to stop is to reboot my PC.

I can't end the process tree or do anything to stop this activity. As I type this, it is using more and more of my memory.

HELP PLEASE!!

Hey @Richie007

First of all, try to uninstall Spotify with a cleaner app(like CCleaner) typically when you uninstall from windows some files are still there, then reinstall it.

If this doesn't fix the problem then uninstall it one more time as I show you and then install it from Windows Store (if you previously installed it directly from spotify.com) or from spotify.com (if you previously installed it from Windows Store).
