Bug: Windows App Incompatible with 3.1 Sound Configuration

My Question or Issue

When speakers are configured to 3.1 in Windows 10 sound control panel, Spotify will not play any audio and displays "Spotify can't play this right now." when any song is selected. I was personally able to repro this issue by turning it on and off to enable playback.
