Spotify is skipping through all of my songs

My Question or Issue

My spotify is skipping though all of my songs on the playlist when I try to play a specific song or playlist. I will click on a song and it thinks about it for a few seconds then skips to the next song and does that a few times then it starts to go super fast through all of the songs on the playlist without playing any of them. I have restarted my computer and Spotify neither of which worked.

Also Spotify is still working normally on my iPhone so I do not think it is my account I think it is my computer.

Hey emmalyann,

Here are a few troubleshooting tips to help:

Uninstall the Spotify Desktop App, and reinstall it
Turn off Hardware Acceleration (3-dots top left -> View -> Hardware Acceleration unchecked)

If the issue still persists, it might be a driver or windows system process conflicting with the Spotify app. You can try updating yoru drivers to see if it fixes the issue.
