Plan

Premium

Country

United States

Device

Windows PC

Operating System

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

My Question or Issue

So, it's a bit strange in the way it works out, i'll further explain:

I have a sound card, the Sound BlasterX G6 from Creative. And it only rapidly skips the songs whenver I have my audio set to anything above 32-bit 192KHz. the options above that are 32-bit 352.8KHz and 32-bit 384KHz. but the 192KHz works just fine. Anyone have any ideas on this? i tried re-installing drivers, spotify itself, etc. I just don't think spotify can output at that quality, that's what it comes down to for me. I'll attach an image of all my available audio qualities. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey @Lone_Ninja01

It has been confirmed by other users that any bitrate above 192kHz breaks Spotify's audio playback for some reason. Here you can see an Issue thread created by a Soundblaster user who can use similar output options, and Spotify's answer to it.

My audio interface (Focusrite) is 24/192 so I can't test it myself.

Have a nice day 🙂
